QODOSEN DX-286 Introduction
1.DX286 ( the performance is the same as QODOSEN SR286 with more userfriendly operation) adopts NXP's highperformance automotive chip TEF6686 to ensure superior selectivity and ultra-high sensitivity.Better reception experience for you!
2.FM band support 64 a 108MHz, support RDS/RBDS Radio Data System, 5 kinds of frequency range selectable,6 kinds of step selectablesuitable for diferent areas to receive;there are 17 kinds of bandwidth selection, with excellent selectivity.
3.S/N Ratio ≥ 60dB, clear signal, low noise, builtin adjustable antenna attenuator, improve the overload resistance;LW/MW/SW band with builtin lownoise amplifier switch to improve the reception sensitivity.
4.All bands support external antennas, using an external antenna can make the DX-286's sensitivity even better.
5.LW and Mw bands support switching between telescopic antenna and internal ferrite bar antenna. In an outdoor setting with minimal interference, reception is even better with a telescopic antenna or external antenna.
18650 BATTERY POWERED/INDEPENDENT AMPLIFIER DESIGN
1. The DX286 uses a buttontop 18650 battery, not a flattop, that can be replaced easily. It can also be recharged with a standard 5V USB charger when the battery is dead. (Avoid the use of fast chargers to avoid damage).
2. The DX286 uses separate amplifiers for speakers and headphones to reduce interference and enhance sound quality,with greater dynamics, wider range and less distortion.
External antenna interface, supports all bands including LW/MW
1. Improved signal reception quality: By connecting an external antenna, the radio's sensitivity to receiving radio waves is enhanced, thus
improving the quality of signal reception and allowing the radio to pick up more channels and clearer audio.
2. Expanded reception range: An external antenna can help broaden the radio's reception range, especially in areas with weak signals or
limited signal coverage, allowing for a wider range of reception.
3. Reduced interference: Indoor environments often contain various sources of interference, such as electrical devices and metal
structures, which can affect the radio's reception. Connecting an external antenna allows the antenna to be placed in a location with better signal reception, reducing the impact of such interference.
4. Convenient adjustment of antenna position: External antennas typically come with longer cables, allowing users to conveniently place
the antenna in different positions to achieve the best signal reception. Users can optimize reception by adjusting the antenna's position and direction.

DX286 has 5 tuning modes, 100 editable pages, supports 1000 cross band storage stations, two storage sorting (ATS JUMP/ATS COVER), multiple search thresholds, multiple store/delete methods. Flexible operation.
ANTENNA SWITCHING
LW/MW has three antenna switching modes. Choose the right antenna for the environment to get the best reception.
1. In the case of indoor or electromagnetic environment with high interference, it is recommended to use Internal ferrite bar antenna to receive (ANT INT).
2. If you are outdoors or in an electromagnetic environment with little interference, you can try to use Retractable Antenna to receive (ANT EXT), Retractable Antenna can bring you a better reception experience.
3. To achieve better reception, you can use external antenna in ‘ANT EXT’ mode.
ANTENNA ATTENUATOR
1. Enhance Reception Clarity: An attenuator controls signal strength, preventing overloading and distortion, ensuring clearer and more stable broadcasts.
2. Mitigate Interference: It minimizes interference from strong electromagnetic sources like storms or power lines, improving reception performance.
3. Improves Selectivity: In multifrequency environments, it helps filter out unwanted signals, enhancing the receiver's focus on the desired broadcast frequency for accurate and clear reception.
Built-In Low Noise Amplifier Switch
1. When reception is weak, you can enable the signal amplifier (AMP ON) to increase the strength of the signal, making it clearer.
2 If there is a signal overload when receiving a strong signal, you can turn off the signal amplifier (AMP OFF) to reduce overload.
3. When using an external passive antenna, it is recommended to turn on the antenna amplifier (AMP ON).
4. When using an external active antenna, it is recommended to turn off the antenna amplifier (AMP OFF).
FEATUERS OF FM BAND
The DX286 radio has an FM tuning range of 64 MHz to 108 MHz with 5 adjustable ranges to meet the range requirements of different countries. It enables precise tuning with 6 selectable steps and 17 bandwidth options, ensuring excellent selectivity in all environments. It also supports the RBDS/RDS data system for an enhanced broadcast experience, and four different FM signal processing functions to
improve signal quality.
MUSIC VOICE TONE
The DX286 is equipped with a closedcavity fullrange speaker in its compact size, which excels in vocal and music details; and has a tone switching function, which allows you to adjust the details and layering of audio by selecting different gears (MUSIC/VOICE) to satisfy the listening experience of different users.
ONE-KEY MUTE FUNCTION /SWTICH LCD ON/OFF
1.The One-Key mute quickly toggles mute on or off without adjusting volume gradually.
2.Turning off the display can reduce noise interference and improve weak signal reception for a better auditory experience.
